In November 2021 The Society for Dance Research in partnership with C-DaRE and Candoco Dance Company hosted the Inclusion & Intersectionality Symposium.
As part of the symposium artist-researchers Aby Watson and Kate Marsh were invited to offer an artistic response to the conversations and themes that emerged. The response resulted in the above video.
This film includes conversations and filmed responses to the Inclusion & Intersectionality Symposium which happened in November 2021. They are non linear, moving between subjects and responding to the conference themes overall. Themes include – inclusion, lived experience of disability, consent, dance practice and identity.
