A lively discussion was held highlighting the problems dance scholars face getting work, especially books, published in the UK and proposing ways forward.
The problem of getting a monograph published in a minority discipline is particularly fraught when publishers are dealing with a competitive market place. The Society is now looking at ways to remedy the situation.
