A one day conference held in collaboration with Dance Theatre Journal and the Laban Centre, London.
It dealt with the relationship between dance and language – critical tensions between the choreographer, critic and scholar – the commissioning process within dance publishing – the use of text as a choreographic starting point – and the language of dance publicity and marketing.
